At Mavuno Village we believe in children.
When you sponsor a child, you are investing in the country of Tanzania. Mavuno Village is a holistic ministry seeking to come alongside Tanzanians in caring for their orphaned and vulnerable children. Beyond meeting physical needs, we want to see children grow up understanding how to navigate relationships, knowing what it means to worship and serve Jesus Christ, and being equipped with the skills necessary for someday living, working and flourishing within communities all over Tanzania.

At Mavuno Village we believe in families.
By putting the word "village" in our name, we are referring to the way that we are building up a community of individual families, each with their own homes and traditions. When we call ourselves "family-style," we mean that cooking in the kitchen, eating around the table, doing homework in the evenings, and praying before bed all happens within distinct family households. Because of this deeply rooted family value, when someone sponsors a child at Mavuno Village, they are connected with his or her whole family.
